Advertising on the internet has got to be one of the most exasperating and confusing tasks to perform in the process of promoting your business. It doesn’t matter whether its a brick & mortar store or one of the hundreds of online business opportunities. The same holds true for both – getting seriously interested customers through internet advertising is tough. Costly too!
Like many small business owners, I know diddly about search engine optimization (a must for the successful entrepreneur). So getting my website ranked high in the search engines is a cumbersome, if not costly task. I have to hire someone to do the SEO work. Or, do I? And, there’s the question of what forums are most efficient for advertising.
We’ve all heard about the utility companies that have formed coops. The actual cost of the utility is shared equally among it’s members. In much the same way, so goes the advertising coop. With the ever-changing inner-workings of Google, perhaps the worlds most used search engine, trying to get a top ranking is nearly impossible. Especially for the novice advertiser. It used to be word of mouth (the best form of advertisement) but the face of promotions has changed drastically.
This is where ad coops lend a hand. They’ve already tackled the hard part – knowing where to advertise most efficiently. The use of an ad coop is, in this writers opinion, a most efficient use of my advertising dollar. Not only are my over-all costs regulated and kept to a minimum, but the over-all results have proven to be very profitable.
One such ad coop, GDICoop.com, has proven to be a most reasonable and affordable use of my advertising dollar. Of course, they specialize in promoting the GDI business opportunity, but unlike many of the general use coops, GDICoop has provided real, solid results. Not only for me, but for those in my down line at GDI as well. The great thing is that I can add my down line members into a rotator and help them build their business as well at no additional charge. Of course, this only provides me a more lucrative business income because as my down line succeeds, I succeed also.
If your already a GDI member, the cost for this advertising is a mere $3.50 per month. A drop in the bucket considering what you’d pay to advertise through Google’s Adwords or through a Safe List. If your not a GDI member yet, the cost is a little higher as you’d have to become a GDI member to utilize the services provided by GDICoop. But, considering the other advertising options, I get the best bang for my buck through GDICoop.
Another coop which provides excellent coverage of the traffic exchanges is MTE Advertising Co-op. This is a wonderful option available to those who are have business’s other than GDI (I use them for GDI too). MTE will take your text ad, banner ad and/or affiliate site url and send it out through 20+ traffic exchanges, leaving you free to handle other aspects of your business. This saves you tons of time as most traffic exchanges require you to surf and view other websites in exchange for showing yours. MTE takes that cumbersome task out of your hands and promotes your site for you.
